What filled the rest of the list for your double stompa?

6:23 I feel like this goes for every “meme loadout” in any tabletop game. Fighting “meme decks” in Magic: The Gathering isn’t fun when one gets absolutely stomped while the opponent continues to remark how “bad” their meme deck is.

This came at a perfect time. I'm prepping for SLO and am running a full deathwatch index list 😅. I started doubting if I should do it. Now that spark is reignited.

What did you run with your double stompas? Some grots?

I ran a meme list for one of my local escalation leagues. They started at 1000 points so i was like "eh ill bring a silly bugyy list" was like 3 meks, 3 trakkjets, 3 shokjumps, 3 boostas, and like 20 grots. And unexpectedly it absolutely crushed and i ended up placing second out of 18 somehow. The 2+ dragstas absolutely oblitered everyones characters and alot of people brought really expensive legendary characters.

Playing Warhammer competitively is sort of like playing super smash Brothers melee competitively. The game is built from the ground up for you to not do that, you’re surrounded by the sweatiest, most poorly adjusted people on the planet, and you should really feel bad for even trying to play this way.

i run a warpmeld pact 70 tzaangoors i use a bunch of englightened and shamans, bunch of big monsters, a few sorcerers that i proxy as weird daemons and a lord of change and some horrors its a very fun list that ive been running sense 9th

I've been thinking of running green tide with 4 groups of 20 Boyz using pain boys to keep them alive, ufthak Blackhawk for deep strike and a weird boy for warp shenanigans then grots for my cleanse and commandos with snikrot to also do some objective shenanigans

Does the FAQ stating that warbosses dont get their special waaagh abilities if theyre in transports when its called change your playstyle for the bully boyz/warhoard lists at all? Or do you just take the extra protection of keeping em in the transport in exchange for the lower damage output?

8:48 i wasn't fan of the verminlord model's design--didn't strike me as particularly rat-like. but man, your paint job makes me appreciate it for the first time, in particular because of how you painted the fur on its back. You've given it VOLUME; i can picture its fur bobbing and whipping about as he rampages across the battlefield, like a Bloodborne boss. And that volume makes the "silhouette" of the body beneath really stand out, to my eye at least--looks more like a skaven, less like a linebacker. Anyway phenomenal work, easily the most striking paint job I've seen for hair / fur on any model
